Growing up in Thailand, Pakistan, and Korea allowed me to develop a high tolerance for ambiguity, adapt to unexpected shifts, and empathize with extreme perspectives. I love getting people out of their comfort zones. A gasp, followed by a burst of laughter, or maybe even a confused head-tilt; These moments motivate me to ask more questions, and challenge the way we think and feel through design experiments. In my work, I try to highlight the potential of the idea by reframing the question. This pushes me to trust my instincts even if it seems off-track, while brainstorming with my teammates, or visualizing what-if scenarios in my sketchbook. I seek to create moments that inspire new stories, and live on as treasured memories by connecting unexpected elements in life.
